UCBC to receive jiffy gifts from Belfast

Dunmurry Primary School in Belfast has shipped 15boxes of stationery, uniforms, soft toys, support sucs worth 151 kilograms to UCBC through DHL. The jiffies have reached Uganda and they are still held at the customs for clearance. This was coordinated through Kinderhearts Ireland by Joanna Ruman and Jane Karney, the Principal of Dunmurry Primary School. We beleive this will bring a smile to the children of Uganda and we seek for more donnations from churches, schools partnerships and other partnerships.

UCBC Members meet Global Health Council President

The members of UCBC were previledged to meet the President and CEO of Global Health Council, which is based in Washington, Jeffrey L. Sturchio, and the Awards Program Coordinator, Dawn Ellen Carey, on Monday 1st February 2010 at Imperial Resort Beach Hotel, Entebbe, Uganda.

The meeting was meant to discuss issues on how Global Health council could be of more help to its partner organizations in Uganda. The meeting was also attended by other organisations like PACANet-USA, Rural Health Promotiom and Poverty Alleviation Initiative, and many others.


UCBC to receive UK donation

Tools With A Mission, a Christian Organisation based in the UK, has collected for UCBC some tools inform of tailoring machines, sand dries, and others. These items are still in UK and are waiting for shipment charges and clearance duty in Uganda. You can consider being part of this move to meet this levy.

 

Get involved

Our fundraising drive for the establishment of the Indigent Children's Home and Children's Pantry was a success. We raised funds for the home and fed and showed love to the children. Honourable Nabilah Ssempala Nagayi woman Member of Parliament Kampala and Honourable James Kubekteria Chair Person Social Service comittee parliament graced the function
