Bakery project

Since its inception the organisation through member contributions has been able to initiate a number of projects or activities through which young people are benefiting. These include among others.

This income generating projects was born out of the findings and proposals by youth members during the moblisation and sentisatin campaigns carried out in kampala.

The project was intended to create immediate employment opportunities for the overwhelmingly number of young people who are victims of HIV/AIDS and he political insurgencies. These are indigent kids, school drop outs with no meaningful practical or technical skills and are unemployed.

As a result the organization through member contributions established a community Bakery project in Kawempe. The project employs about 50 on both part time and full time basis. Young people are engaged in a number of activities at the Bakery project ranging from Baking, packing and Marketing. Income generated supports the beneficiaries to meet their basic needs such as education, medication, clothing, housing etc

It is the mother project that serves the sustainability of all projects and day to day running of the organisation.
